CCÉ Caisleán Uí Chonaill/Atháin/Baile Iorbairt Notes

Our Annual Féile took place on Sun, 28th April in Banogue N.S. We had approximately 120 of our students competing in a wide range of competitions including Grúpa Cheoil, Banna Céilí, Duets, Trios and a multitude of solo competitions. We would like to thank all of our visiting adjudicators who were extremely impressed with the overall standard of music they heard on the day - especially from the younger competitors at U6, U7 & U8! Special thanks to the Banogue N.S Parents' Association who provided soup, sandwiches and a tuck shop which kept everybody fed throughout the day. Finally, a massive thank you to all our volunteers who helped in any way on the day - clerks, door stewards, entrance fees, adjudication sheets, clean-up crew etc - this day could not happen without all of you!

SCT exams took place over the past 2 weeks - congratulations to all who sat their exams! Results will be available over the summer.

Focus now turns to preparations for Fleadh Cheoil Luimnigh which takes place over the June Bank Holiday weekend in Athea. All entries have been sent to the county board secretary and there are no late entries accepted.
