Féile Feabhra

CCÉ Leac Snámha (Lixnaw) are hosting their annual Féile Feabhra next weekend on 2nd/3rd February.

On Saturday there will be Master Classes with tutors - Ger Naughton (of the Shandrum Céilí Band) for Instrumental Music from 10.30am and Drums/Bodhrán from 12.15pm. Also there will be Sean Nós Dancing with Ranog Ní Ghríofa Townsend (All-Ireland Winner) from 1.30pm.

Places for the master classes are limited so it is advisable to register in advance by calling Anne O'Sullivan on 087 6979334. Cost is €10 for one class or €15 for two. Lunch will be provided.

On Saturday evening, there will be a concert in the Ceolann at 7pm with the teachers & children of CCÉ Lixnaw.

Admission is €5 for adults and €2 for children.

Sunday will see the hosting of a wide range of competitions similar to those seen at a Fleadh.
