Oriel Wave - National Folk Orchestra of Ireland

A performance of "Oriel Wave" a new suite of music, song and narration inspired by the Ulster Tradition will take place in St Augustine's Church, Drogheda on Friday 16th August during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.

The suite has been written, arranged and will be conducted by the well known musician and educator, Tom Doorley, and will be performed by the National Folk Orchestra of Ireland.

The orchestra consists of 60 of Ireland's top young trad and classical musicians from 24 different counties in Ireland.
