Macalla na hÉireann

Macalla na hÉireann the Comhaltas Concert Tour of Ireland is returning to Limerick once again this year!

Representing Limerick on the tour this year are two musicians from Castleconnell/Ahane/Herbertstown CCÉ - Séamus Harnett and Micheál Fitzgibbon. They will be joined by their very capable tour manager, Eddie Murphy from CCÉ Craobh Pheig Uí Riain.

Each year the tour assembles a fine mix of established artists together with up-and-coming young stars. These are blended together into a fast-moving and colourful show that appeals to both the connoisseurs and peripheral fans of Irish traditional entertainment alike. Macalla hÉireann reflects the breadth and depth of traditional Irish music, dance and song and is produced by Cian Kearins and Niamh O’ Sullivan.

The Limerick Concert will take place in Castleconnell Parish Hall on Thursday, 17th October at 8pm.
