Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2020 - Newcastle West

The 2020 Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan will take place in Newcastle West on the weekend of July 17th – 19th. It has been six years since the Munster Fleadh Cheoil has taken place in Co. Limerick – the last venue being in UL in 2013 and

hosted by CCÉ, Caladh an Treoigh.

The Fleadh Coiste will be elected at the inaugural Fleadh meeting in the coming week. 

Events planned for this festival of traditional culture include Scoil Fonn agus Amhráin, Polka & Slide Workshop, concerts, céilithe, outdoor entertainment and of course the Munster Finals in music, song, Irish language and set dancing where first and second qualify to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2020 in Mullingar next August.
