Step to the West

The Step to the West Set Dancing weekend takes place next weekend in the Falls Hotel, Ennistymon from Friday, January 24th to Sunday, January 26th . The weekend comprises of workshops and céilithe. There will sessions before and after each céilí on Friday and Saturday night. 

Programme for the weekend is as follows

Friday, January 24th:

7.30 – 9.30 p.m: Music Session in Bar

10 p.m. – 1 a.m: Céilí with Johnny Reidy Céilí Band

1 a.m. – late: Music Session in Bar

Saturday, January 25th:

2.30 – 5.30 p.m: Céilí with music by Abbey Céilí Band

7.30 – 9.30 p.m: Music Session in Bar with Ceol na Mara

10 p.m. – 1 a.m: Céilí with music by Swallows Tail Céilí Band

1 a.m. – late: Country/Social Dancing with Michéal Sexton

1 a.m. – late: Music Session in foyer with Ceol na Mara

Sunday, January 26th:

2 – 5 p.m: Farewell Ceilí with Shandrum Céilí Band

5 – 7 p.m: Music Session in Bar
