We are pleased to confirm the date for the upcoming Ceol an Gheimridh.
It is to be held on Sunday November 26th, in Loughill, Co. Limerick.
The County Board wish to express their gratitude to CCÉ Ballyhahill agreeing to host this year.
All competitors must be a paid up member of a comhaltas to compete.

This year there is a new competition called Polka/Slide playing where competitors play a polka and slide from the Sliabh Luachra repertoire on their instrument of choice.
ELIGIBILITY NOTE: Competitors are Confined to registered members of one Branch - Competitors are not eligible to compete at Co. Level unless registered CCÉ Members with Co. Board, for 2023-2024 at the time of submitting entries. Counties should ensure that all relevant membership for qualifiers will have been submitted to Comhairle na Mumhan with the Co. Results within 7 days of Co. Competition. Competitors may be members of ONE Branch only at the time and may compete with one Branch only in Ceol an Ghemhridh. Competitors may only compete ONCE in any competition.
Please note: solo qualifiers to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 from Fleadh na Mumhan 2023 are ineligible to compete in this years Ceol an Gheimhridh on the category in which they competed in Fleadh na hÉireann. (e.g a competitor who qualified from Fleadh na Mumhan on fiddle is ineligible to enter the strings competition in Ceol an Gheimhridh 2023/24 etc). This applies to solo competitors in Strings, Wind, Reed, Amhránaíócht, Singing, Storytelling and Scéalaíocht only.
